Abbie's 6th Birthday

Ok...so I've been away from the blog scene all summer which means I've missed Abbie's birthday, our trip to Chattanooga for 4th of July, and our move to northwest Alabama. A little catch up...Abbie's birthday was June 28th. The weekend before her birthday, she decided to invite 4 of her closest friends over to swim and eat pizza (which was great for me!). They had a great time! Then on her birthday, we celebrated again. PaPaw, Nanny, MeMe, Maw-Maw, Kilbie and Michael were all at the new house for a little party. Abbie was wanting a Wii so she saved her money and got one. She loves it! And she's a pro at bowling!!! I think she enjoyed her 6ht birthday (but she's growing up way too fast!!!)

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! What a beautiful day to celebrate the Resurrection of God's Son!!! The weather was as perfect as I've ever seen it on an Easter Sunday!!!

Even though we weren't with extended family this year, we enjoyed celebrating this special day just the 4 of us! We went ot Pizza Pro for lunch (similar to Pizza Hut), hid Easter eggs, and of course watched my favorite...Tiger Woods at the Masters!!! Too bad he didn't win...but there's always the British Open :) I'm just glad he's finally back on the golf course!

Hunter and Blake LANDERS!!!

Saturday, we went to Opelika to celebrate Hunter and Blake officially becoming a "Landers." We had a great time! Some friends of Tom and Amber gave them a party at their house...it was so pretty! They had lots of land with goats, horses, peacocks, and of course a dog! I'm terrified of dogs but I did ok with it. Abbie on the other hand is a much different story!!! She was horrified!!! She screamed and cried...even on PaPaw's shoulders.

The kids got to hunt Easter eggs, see the animals, and ride the 4-wheeler...all but Abbie! Lizzie rode with Uncle Tom...and I couldn't believe it...she's usually scared of loud noises...like lawn mowers...but she loved riding.

Much to our surprise, Abbie decided she wantedto play tee-ball this year. I was afraid she wouldn't go on the field when time came to play, but she did and has loved every minute of it!!! Lizzie likes to watch,too. Blaine's helping coach the team...some. He's not in charge...for once! She's had 3 games already, and Blaine told her they were undefeated...and she thinks they are!
