18 Month Check-up

I took Lizzie for her 18 month check-up today...a few days after turning 18 months. Since I didn't post a picture from May 20, I thought I'd post a few from the doctor visit today. She did really good! She weighed 23 lbs and 3 oz and was 32 inches tall. Dr. Stewart said she'd probably be average height. (The nurse said she'd probably be tall and skinny...maybe!!!) She got 1 shot, but we had to go have her lead and iron levels tested. That required a stick in both arms. She did really well!!! The only reason she cried was from being held down...not the actual stick. We came home and she slept almost 3 hours. Notice all the babies we had to take in with us.

A Day at the Park

Today, some of us from church took our kids (all 12) to a park in Crestview, FL, that shoots water in various areas. The kids had a ball!! Abbie stayed with Sadie and Lizzie took up with Baylee (not sure of the spelling). But we definitely have a new babysitter! She loved her! And Lizzie doesn't stay away from me long...but she spent the entire day with her. Baylee even fed her lunch! I am so excited!!! And she can't date yet which makes it even better!!! Anyway, we had a great time!!


When we got home, Abbie, Lizzie and MaKayla got in the pool and had a blast!

Abbie's Pre-School Graduation

Abbie graduated from Jack and Jill Pre-school in East Brewton on Friday, May 16. I cannot believe she will start kindergarten in the fall. All of her grandparents got to come and see her. She had the opening speaking part. The microphone wasn't on to begin with so she had to say her part twice. She did such a good job!! I was so proud of her!!! I was sick though because my camera was going crazy and I didn't get any good pictures. They were all fuzzy, but I'm posting some anyway. Overlook the fuzziness. Anyway, thanks to all the grandparents for coming and enduring through the pouring rain!!

Saturday, May 10, the girls and I went to Auburn for my first cousin Jenna's graduation. I didn't get many good pictures, but here are the ones I did get. Jenna graduated with a degree in Elementary Education...bless her!! :) Seems to be a pattern in our family! Anyway, we wish her the best of luck with finding a job and for her first year. I know she will be a wonderful teacher!!

A Quick Picture

I had to take Lizzie to the doctor this morning so I thought I'd try to get a quick picture of them before we left. Much to my surprise, Lizzie was ready...and of course Abbie was too. Lizzie even said "cheese" for the one of her by herself. And Abbie struck a pose like only Abbie can do :)

Fun in the Sun!!!

The girls and I have been outside enjoying the sun this afternoon!! I bought them a "slip-n-slide" and they have had the best time with it. They also enjoyed their Oreo cookies as you can see. I'm still having trouble getting Lizzie to look for pictures, but Abbie is ready to pose! Some poses look like she might be a future swimsuit model...unfortunately!! :)

Spring Break

We've been a little busy lately so I've fallen behind on my posting. Here are some pictures from Spring Break (April 14). Since it fell during turkey season, the girls and I spent the week with Mom and Dad (Blaine was in the woods somewhere all week, of course). Anyway, it was so good to be home for that time. We had so much fun!!! I didn't want to leave!!! The girls had a blast too. They played on the swing set and slide - went to the park - went to Blake's 7th birthday party- and just had fun! The first slideshow is them playing in the backyard.
