Halloween Dresses

We got a few pictures before church on Sunday. Lizzie has a dress that matches the one Abbie has on but I wanted her to wear this one instead. I just love it!! Happy Halloween!!!

Sewing Class...

Ok...so I know NOTHING about sewing, but I bought me a machine that embroiders too. I took my first class last night. I had pretty much taught myself how to do the basics with embroidery, but I had a few questions. Ms. Ferguson was great!! This morning, I decided to try one on my own...my very first piece. Now, I know it's not exactly centered, but that's what practice is for. Hopefully before too long I can get it centered and do better. But I thought it was cute anyway!! And notice my beautiful model!!!!!

WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those of you who don't know, we live in East Brewton and Blaine is the head coach at W.S. Neal High School. Across the creek, literally less than 5 miles away is T.R Miller High School. The rivalry between the two schools is intense to say the least. Anyway, last year, Blaine's team came back from a 21 - 0 deficit at the half to win the game 42 to 35 (or something like that) making that the first win Neal had over Miller since '96. We were elated! And tonight was that time of the season again. We were really just hoping to play well and stay in the game. Much to our surprise, we ended the game tied 8-8. In overtime, Miller had it first and we held them on 4th down on the 4 yard line. We got the ball and they held us on first down. Then on 2nd (I think) it looked like they had tackled our guy but he kept pushing and the team kept pushing and he fell into the endzone!!! Touchdown W.S. Neal!!!!!!! We beat our across town rival 14-8 in overtime at our stadium!!! Needless to say the fans erupted!!! I left Abbie, Kilbie, MeMe, and Lizzie in the stands and flew out on the field (and left my purse, seat, pretty much everything)!!! Anyway, to make a long story short, WE WON!!!!!! And this win puts us in the playoffs!!! Praise God...as long as we don't have to play Handley (my alma mater)!!!!! I don't have a picture right now since it's almost midnight, but I'll will post one as soon as possible. And this was the first year they gave a trophy...and it is ours for the next year!!! I don't brag on Blaine very much on this blog but I don't know when I have been more proud of him!!! He's a heck of a coach!!! Best I've ever seen!! :)
Also, congrats to Tom and Ben (my brothers) and their teams for also making it to the playoffs. We're all 3 in and I'm so excited!!!

Lizzie is 11 months old!!!

Lizzie was 11 months old on Saturday, October 20. I didn't get any really good pictures, but here's what I could get. She's such a busy-body that I'm not sure how I'll ever get her still for her 1 year portrait!!! I can't believe it's only a month away...she has grown so fast!!!
(Notice the dead mum in the picture...I think it was dead when I bought it:)

A Few More Pics From The Pumpkin Patch

We really had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday! These adorable matching outfits that the girls have on were a gift from MeMe. Aren't they precious!!! Thanks MeMe! We got so many compliments on them yesterday.
I think Granddaddy and Grandmama Debbie had a pretty good time too. Here are a few more pictures from the afternoon.

Picking the Perfect Pumpkin!!

The girls had a ball riding the covered wagon out to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. The girls scoped out all the pumpkins before finding the perfect one. I think Abbie and Granddaddy found it!!

Sliding at the Pumpkin Patch!!

We took the girls to the pumpkin patch in Clanton today and had the best time!! We met Grandmama Debbie and Granddaddy there. Here is a slideshow of Abbie having a blast sliding down the inflatable slides. She loved it!! I made so many pictures that I had to put some of them as a slideshow to get them all posted!

He has my girls smitten...

Since I'm a stay-at-home-mom and don't have a "job" I've been tutoring some kids. I started out with the girl I tutored last year and now I'm up to 5 or 6. The first "new" one I had this year is Harrison...a Miller football player in the 9th grade (Algebra I). He is a cutie and Abbie thinks he's the best thing. She really thinks he's cute! Little did I know...Lizzie does too!!! Last week, his mom came in to talk after we finished studying and tried to get Lizzie to let her hold her. Lizzie was quite sick and would not go to her. However, she did walk right up to Harrison, put her hands up, and lay her head on his shoulder. She just looks at him in awe. It is the sweetest thing. A couple of ballgames ago she fell asleep while rubbing Jared Cooper's leg. We all got so tickled!!! I thought it was no big deal until she started rubbing Harrison's leg last night. Maybe she has a thing for legs!!! At 10 months old!!! Anyway, here are two pictures of Lizzie and Harrison.
